Gallivanting in Cymru (Part 1)

Gallivant  verb /ˈgæl.ɪ.vænt/ to visit or go to a lot of different places, enjoying yourself and not worrying about other things you should be doing...  (like your assignments! :P)

Cymru pronounced [ˈkəmrɨ] is a country that is part of the United Kingdom, bordered by England to its east, and the Atlantic Ocean and Irish Sea to its west.

Yep, that's what I did last Easter hols ... taking time off to visit the Land of the Cymry a.k.a Wales with my family.

We chosed the country route which was long-winded ...

... yet very scenic, with the Cambrian Mountains looming majestically over us.

A familiar sight were the grazing fields :)

It was tiring though as we were in the car for hours.  Along the way, we got lost.  As we were smack in Ulu Wales and there was no Vodafone reception, my BBB GPS satnav was as good as NO GOOD :P!  So, it was back to basics -the MAP :)!

... to be continued ...
